About the role:

This is a remote, full time consulting position

Competencies Required:

• Sound understanding of React.js and React Hooks
• Strong knowledge of back-end Node.js
• Experience with HTML, CSS, DOM, Tailwind, Data Visualization Frameworks (D3) and other industry standards
• Experience querying and working with Relational Databases using SQL
• Knowledge of development on Linux
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Google Cloud Monitoring and Logging, Sentry etc.
• Solid understanding of Data Structure and Algorithms and Object-Oriented Programming concepts
• Experience with creating RESTful API with Nodejs, PostgreSQL
• Experience working with bundlers and transpilers such as Webpack and Babel
• A knack for independently researching new tech and is comfortable trying new things
• Ability to work independently or in a team with a proactive attitude
• Strong problem solving and written and verbal communication skills in English
• Exposure Google Cloud or any cloud platform will be a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the overall development and implementation of front and back-end software applications
• Develop, implement and test features that satisfy requirements of product, monitor and maintain existing products and report progress to concerned personnel
• Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders
• Ensure quality frontend application and API implementations
• Provide proper guidance and supervision of subordinate engineers and their work
• Work on refactoring, debugging, testing, and implementing changes to existing applications to meet project requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or similar
5 years+ of industry experience in related field
